Show jumping

Showjumping is a great way to develop a strong bond and teamwork between rider and horse.

I offer showjumping lessons for horses and riders.

My philosophy is to take it slow. Before jumping, the rider must feel his body well and be able to find his balance.

Beginner riders: It is very important to first get a good position in the saddle and build confidence so that jumping does not become dangerous. With beginners, I work on finding balance. I teach them to follow the horse without compromising the mechanics of the jump. I insist that beginners should only jump on experienced horses.

Advanced riders: I always have good advice for riders at any level. Sometimes an outside perspective can help improve technique and develop a better understanding of the horse.

Horses: I can prepare your horse from start. I also correct horses that are no longer confident or refuse to jump. I use only gentle correction methods, an understanding of horse psychology and biomechanics. First, I look at the condition of a young horse’s back before it jumps. If the muscles of the back are not sufficiently trained, jumping should be postponed until the horse is sufficiently fit. I suggest optimal work to strengthen the back muscles. The well-being of the horses is my top priority.

Competitions: I can prepare you or your horse for competitions. I am happy to accompany you to competitions. My knowledge of psychology and my love for people will help me find the right words to support you.
