Classical dressage

Classical Dressage

Do you want your horse to be light and attentive? So that work with the rider does not cause harm, but only develops flexibility and strength. Then you should try classical dressage.

Sport dressage is about results, riding a horse there is a kind of “push-pull”. The rider constantly pulls on the reins and at the same time moves the horse with his leg at each step. For me, this looks like stress, but I am not here to say that someone else is bad.. I am here to tell you my philosophy. Classical dressage, which I follow, implies flexibility, softness and cooperation. When you tell a horse “now trot”, horse should trot until you ask it for another command. Riding a horse, in my understanding, is the desire to enjoy the ride together, and not constantly “gas-brake”.

It is also important for me to be a friend to the horse. Sometimes a friend is not in the mood to communicate, and that is okay. Sometimes I come to a horse and it does not want me to sit on it, because today is not riding day. In this case, I can say to the horse: “so be it, I give you the right to choose.” I want to be a friend to the horse, not force it.

I teach my students that making mistakes is not scary, the main thing is to try to be better every time.

I teach my students that it is normal to be afraid, and if you are afraid, you need to admit it and we will work on it together. Horses do not like it when we sit on them and are afraid, because if you are going to climb on their back, be kind enough to enjoy it!

I teach my students to enjoy the little things, if you have become even a little better than yesterday, then you are doing everything right.

Love, support, care, respect – this is my philosophy in relation to students and horses.

Classic ground work, double lunge, riding – it’s my pleasure to teach you and your horses this.
